Hello & Welcome!

Located in North County Dublin, Luxury Dog Livery is a kennel free dog boarding service for dog owners nationwide. A home away from home for all dogs.

We aim to provide an excellent quality service through a respectful and caring attitude towards the welfare of all dogs boarding with us.

About Us

Luxury Dog Livery is run by myself and my son Harrison.

Our home offers a professional, personal, reliable and safe service to dog owners nationwide.

Harrison and I have cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages for many years. Harrison, who co-manages Luxury Dog Livery, has worked with a local veterinary practice in Swords and is now working for a dog care company in Germany.

Our Services

Guest dogs live in my home with my own 2 dogs. We don't use kennels and I take only two guest dogs at a time. Our home is a private property with electronic gates and secured perimeter fencing.

All dogs boarding with us sleep indoors, run free all day and are supervised 24hrs. We supply high quality food and can cater for older dogs by administering medications etc.

We offer local collection of your dog and are located just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. Upon your return, your dog will be washed and groomed to greet you.

We can accommodate any requests you may have regarding your dog.

'Park & Bark'

As we are located only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, many clients find my unique 'Park & Bark' service convenient when travelling abroad.

Arrive with your dog any time day or night, park your vehicle in our secure area, and you will be personally dropped to Dublin Airport. When you return, you will be collected, and your happy dog will be awaiting you.

  • I have been leaving my energetic hyper little puggle with Maeve whenever we go away, sometimes for just a weekend and once for as long as a month. Everytime my dog is so well cared for and she is always excited to go there - I think secretly she has a crush on Phoebe (one of Maeve’s dogs).

  • The only place I would ever leave my dog and Maeve is a dog professional she’s amazing with dogs. She does not have kennels she has an amazing house and fenced yard area. Her setup is amazing and we have used her the past 3 years. Amee our Maltese loves it there it’s a doggy home from home. The best place to leave your dog and have your mind at ease. Amazing. Amee knows Maeve well and adores her.

  • Maeve provides an excellent service. It’s a home from home for our Holly. She jumps out of the car with excitement when she sees Maeve. It’s piece of mind for me to know that Holly is in safe hands. We are so lucky to have found Maeve. I could not recommend her services highly enough.

  • Can't rate Maeve and Luxury Dog Livery highly enough! Fantastic service. We treat our dog as if she was our baby and Maeve does the same. When we go away on holidays and leave our little furball in we can rest easy that she is being looked after to a standard that it is basically a holiday for her too! We get regular video and text updates and we can see how happy our dog is and we couldn't ask for more.

  • I can't thank Maeve enough for looking after Bluebell recently. For my husband and I, Bluebell is our baby, she's my constant companion and has helped me through many hard times including illness so for us she deserves the best, and in finding Maeve we have found it.

She was warm and welcoming when we met for our Meet & Greet. Immediately I knew that our little treasure would be in kind and safe hands. On our return Bluebell was her usual happy and wonderful self and also much cleaner thanks to Maeve washing her. It's not a job for the faint hearted. The videos and updates she sent us where just so reassuring and so lovely to see our little girl having fun in Maeve's beautiful and welcoming home.

I can now book my next trip knowing that bluebell will be so well looked after and loved thanks to Maeve.

  • Our eight year old Black Labrador Tess is a very anxious and quite nervous dog and as we never used Kennels we were very concerned what we would do during our son’s wedding in Dublin. Our son found Maeve on the internet and after a chat with Maeve on the phone he concluded that Luxury Dog Livery might just be the ticket! He advised us to get in touch with Maeve, which we did, and we were invited to a meet and greet at her home with Tess before we would leave Tess in her care.

On arrival we were immediately impressed with Maeve, she is a very friendly lady, we enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee on arrival and she is a complete natural with Dogs and knows them inside out. Tess took to Maeve immediately and got on really well with her own two dogs. During our meet and greet Maeve was very careful to learn all about Tess, her likes and dislikes, feeding times, where she slept at home etc. and noted all these details in her diary. We were also invited to ensure we brought her bed and some favourite toys to help reduce stress levels.

When we arrived back with Maeve about two weeks later to leave Tess in the care of Luxury Dog Livery while we attended our son’s wedding we were again met by Maeve. Our black Labrador Tess immediately recognised Maeve and knew where she was and immediately made herself at home. After a short stop we departed leaving Tess in the very capable hands of Maeve and very confident that Tess would be very well looked after. Maeve sent us updates and photos of Tess which we found to be a great service – great peace of mind for us!

After the wedding we arrived back with Maeve to pick up Tess and we found Tess to be completely relaxed (excited of course) but really happy which obviously reflected Maeve’s good care for the previous two days. Maeve allows her guest dogs the freedom of the house and is very keen to allow them to sleep in her house as they would at home.

Safety is also a concern for dog owners... no worries with Luxury Dog Livery. The whole property is completely fenced in and is secured by a remote sliding entrance gate which means that there is no way dogs can escape to the road.

All in all a great experience and a great find for us. We will definitely be using Luxury Dog Livery again as we intend to do some city breaks as we have now found someone we can rely on to look after our very precious pet Labrador dog Tess.

A big thank you to Maeve!

  • I have an 8 year old long haired Chihuahua called Mac who has a very gentle nature and who is a little wary of other dogs because of his small stature.

Family members have always minded him when we went on holidays but this is no longer possible and I was wondering how we could organise a family break when one day I was on the internet and I came upon Luxury Dog Livery.

What a gem of a find. I was so impressed I telephoned and arranged an appointment to meet Maeve in her house with my dog.

As soon as we arrived at Maeve’s beautiful home all we could feel was such positive energy.

We discussed all Mac’s funny little habits and routines. Instantly I knew that this was the right place for my dog.

Maeve introduced him to her dog Rambo and my shy Chihuahua made himself at home in Maeve’s kitchen, even sitting in Rambo’s bed.

I booked Mac in for two vacations with Maeve, one a long weekend and the other vacation for two weeks.

On each occasion Maeve lifted Mac up, made him feel secure and even though I was a little apprehensive leaving him, I knew in my heart that he was in excellent hands.

How right I was. Maeve sent us numerous text messages, pictures, being honest with me at all times.

Stating that initially he was not eating but as soon as his appetite returned I got a text immediately saying that all was good and Mac was feeding well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday knowing that my dog was totally safe, secure and in excellent kind and loving hands.

Maeve’s kindness to Mac even went as far as allowing him to sleep in her bed and I got photos of him lying asleep in the crook of her arm happy and safe.

When Maeve collected us at the Airport Mac was in the front seat of her Range Rover sitting up like Royalty safely attached to a harness.

I cannot thank or praise Maeve enough.

She is a lovely lady and has a wonderful talent with animals.

She is totally professional in every way. Mac was returned to me after two weeks a very happy and healthy dog, probably a little happier than when I l dropped him off.

Mac is the little Chihuahua sitting on Maeve’s bed with a little friend he made while in her care.

I have no hesitation in recommending Luxury Dog Livery and I would strongly advise any dog owner to use LDL. Without a doubt I will be using LDL again!

  • We wish to thank Maeve for taking excellent care of our dog Alex, when we went to a family wedding in London last weekend.

We were very apprehensive as Alex had panic attacks when she stayed at kennels previously.

However, we need not have worried as Maeve's Luxury Dog Livery was a completely different experience.

Alex was treated as a member of the family.

Maeve sent us daily text updates of how Alex was getting on which meant we could relax and enjoy the wedding.

In addition the Park and Bark service meant no airport parking hassles. We were able to leave our car at LDL while Maeve dropped us to the airport at 6.30am and collected us on our return.

Alex enjoyed her stay at LDL and was delighted with her grooming before we returned to pick her up.

We have no qualms about giving Maeve and LDL the highest recommendations possible and will have no hesitation using her service next time we go away.

  • We have a tea-cup Maltese puppy eight months old called Amee. Amee is a playful, friendly puppy who loves people however at the Vets unfortunately a bigger dog bit her so after that she became slightly nervous of larger dogs.

When we approached Maeve about minding Amee and having gone to meet her at her house I was delighted to see the set-up and indeed the care that Maeve has towards all dogs, she loves them.

When we decided to go on holidays in May we were picked up by Maeve to go to the airport and had Amee with us of course – Maeve then took care of her for the 10 days we were away.

When we left Amee she was quite upset – however by the time we got to the Lounge in Dublin Airport I had two photos of Amee sent to me by Maeve to reassure me she was ok, happy out in the car and it was like a weight off my mind!

Only then could I begin to enjoy the start of the holiday. From then on we had daily updates and photos it is an amazing service – I was so glad I had not used kennels as this was definitely the best and safest option for us to use.

Maeve is extremely caring and sensitive to dog owner’s needs, she is genuinely interested in the dog’s wellbeing and I have no hesitation in recommending and using her service at Luxury Dog Livery again.

My only issue with LDL is that we have now decided to go away on another holiday – but only because we know Amee will be taken such good care of!

Thanks to Maeve and her son Harrison we can relax, enjoy our hols and know that Amee is in the safest of hands. Outstanding service and care. BUT SHHHH don’t tell EVERYONE!

  • My wife and I are very protective of our Pugs, Otis and Missy.

We have the opportunity to travel a lot, but I often stay home to make sure the dogs are properly taken care of.

Leaving them at a livery was a big deal for us. Maeve did such a great job with Otis and Missy that we won't have any issues letting them stay with her again.

Her home and facilities are clean and dog friendly. Maeve is wonderful with animals.

She sent us pictures and texts during our trip so that we could see that Otis and Missy were well taken care of.

I highly recommend her livery service.

  • Ah, time for a holiday abroad, time to relax and unwind, right? Well when you have a four legged friend that is very much part of the family that you have to leave behind, holidays can be an unsettling time for all. Looking for a safe haven to leave our beloved schnauzer while we went away for a week was not an easy task. I was very excited when I found Luxury Dog Livery.

Not only could they offer home boarding that is literally a home away from home, but also in the perfect location close to the airport.

At the meet and greet I knew immediately that Maeve would take excellent care of Roxy and I felt very comfortable making the booking.

We availed of the Park & Bark offer which took the stress out of the airport commute and parking chaos that normally happens and Maeve along with Roxy dropped us off at departures. Yes of course I shed a few tears saying goodbye but I could not have felt more comfortable when I had an text update before we even left Dublin airport.

Maeve kept us up to date throughout our weeks holiday and kindly sent both messages and photos of our precious pooch. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful service provided by Maeve at Luxury Dog Livery. I would without doubt recommend her to friends and family, and I will definitely be a return customer. Roxy had a great time there and when she came home she was a bit down for a couple of days, no doubt missing the handsome Rambo and the TLC she got from her new friend Maeve.

  • Our Theo spent a week with 'Marvellous Maeve' during March. Putting it mildly, Theo is a stubborn French Bulldog who always gets his own way and literally throws tantrums at the whisper of the word 'no'. I have allowed this because he so cute and I just became accustomed to his constant demands and tantrums for an easy life (bold dog Mum). Maeve had a serious battle on her hands! Theo does not listen to anyone but she persevered when others would have returned him ASAP to a family member. 'Maeve the Marvelous' battled to put some manners on him and let him know that he is not in charge. On my return from Sunny Spain I saw a big change in Theo and I have tried to implement these changes to correct Theo's behavioural issues.

I just can't thank Maeve enough. Her service is absolutely exceptionally fantastic. It is immediately evident that Maeve is a true animal lover and I am ever so grateful to have found a place that I am comfortable leaving the spoilt brat.

A million thanks to you Maeve. Theo and I will be back if you will have us!

  • Leo spent a little over a week with Maeve. It was our first time leaving Leo for that length of time and I was a nervous wreck as Leo is only a young dog.

Maeve was amazing and took better care of Leo than I ever could have hoped for. Within half an hour of arriving at the airport in Dublin, Maeve sent me a video of Leo all settled in her house playing with her dogs. Not only did my husband and myself get a holiday that week, Leo thoroughly enjoyed himself on his holiday too. With regular updates and photos during the week, I couldn't have been happier with the level of care provided for Leo.

He returned home a very healthy, strong and matured dog! Maeve is absolutely amazing with animals. The Dog Whisperer :). Leo can't wait for his next vacation with Maeve. Thanks so much. Your service is one in a million!
